Multiapp Server Backup

What this is

Multiapp Server Backup is an operational tool used by the server owner to protect the applications hosted on multiapp-prod-01. It is internal infrastructure.

Not a public service

This is not a public SaaS offering. It is not sold, licensed or made available to third parties, and there is no sign-up. These pages exist to describe the tool, not to offer it.

Authorized use

Use is limited to authorized server and operator accounts. The Google account it connects to is the operator's own, and is used solely as storage for that operator's encrypted backups.

Operational basis

• Backups are performed on a best-effort operational basis.
• Restore verification is part of the operating procedure: backups are periodically restored to a separate temporary location and checked, because a backup that has never been restored is unproven.
• A backup run that cannot complete a full recovery set is treated as a failure and does not replace the previous known-good backup.

No additional warranty

No warranty is offered beyond the recovery controls actually implemented and described here and in the privacy policy. Nothing on these pages should be read as a guarantee of availability, of recovery within any particular time, or of protection against every class of failure.

Changes

These terms describe the tool as operated today. If the tool's behaviour changes, these pages are updated to match.
